P320 Legion Carry - There doesn't seem to be a lot of research in this world on the P320 X-Carry Legion, especially since the daily press release that came out a few months ago, along with some videos video "unboxing", so I guess. I will start this here. If you are an X-Carry Legion owner, please feel free to donate.
At first, I had to come clean and eat some shrimp—when this gun first came out, I didn't. It strikes me as a "carried" gun that doesn't look like it was designed to be carried. The model is very popular and has an adjustable rear sight that seems to fit a toy. On top of that it looks like it's made really like a racing gun, but why not get the full X-5 with the benefits of a big barrel?

So I was at LGS yesterday, went shopping and had good credit to use, and started looking at pictures. Not much really caught my eye, but out of curiosity, I asked to take the X-Carry army as well. I've had a first gen X-5 (pre-Legion) and a previous X-Compact, and also an X-Full RXP, so the X-grip is nothing new to me and I like it. But what surprised me when I picked it up was its size. I've been shooting a lot of polymer rifles lately, and this seems to be a step up from all metal rifles. But it's not too heavy - it's very nice and useful. I feel like every model X that I fix and enjoy the new and different at the same time. I put it back on the shelf, and walked around a bit, but nothing interested me like the X-Carry Legion did.

The price is $899, but when you look at everything you get in this gun, plus the 3 mags and Henning Group baseplates, this really isn't an expensive gun. With the store credit I already have, and the fact that I have a bunch of P320 mags in a bag that will work, it's a no brainer.
I threw in a Springer Precision extended mag release that I already had, then pulled out a Romeo 1 Pro and another P320 and went to the range. The lens only needs a little maintenance to die. I put 150 rounds of 115g Winchester through it with no problem. The back is reduced by the weight of the frame, as expected. The closest thing I can compare it to is the P229 pistol - very manageable, and although I didn't let it rip in the first time, I can see how fast this will run you want to take it.
The definition is better than the standard P320 out of the box. The power is clean and short, with stability and little travel. The lack of clarity that I wanted in the standard P320 was not there. Weighs about 2 lbs 12 oz. I understand that some may think that it is too easy to "carry" a gun, but I would say that this is a matter of personal preference.
These tungsten-infused X-frames are really interesting, and if you're a traditional shooter, but really want to try a polymer shooter, this might be the way to go. - it really is a special beast. which is not like you use a plastic gun. While I wouldn't choose the X-Carry Legion as my CCW choice, I can see it as an open carry/handgun. It's not light, but it's not so heavy that carrying it will work with a good bag/belt combo. And of course, the beauty of the P320 series is that you can have a tungsten-free module for when you plan to carry it for a long time, and make the change in seconds.
Review] Sig P320 X5 Legion
So far, I'm very happy with X-Carry Legion, although I'm afraid it won't "take off," because a lot of people look at it and jump to the same conclusions I did too come I have a very different opinion now, I think if you want a non-professional competition gun and it falls under the carry/storage option, then this gun can difficult. It can be better with two hands.
I would love to hear other experiences, and I will continue to post updates as I spend more time with this gun.
Thanks for the review - I've been thinking about one of these as a base for entertainment and a quieter sound. I caught one of the LGS the other day, love the short version of the flat panel setup. The frame looks great, and the wide magwell opening makes it look like it would be good for competition and close range. The magwell seems to make it difficult for the CCW to stop printing...
SurplusM17 says: The magwell seems to make it harder for the CCW to stop printing... Click to expand... Yes, I would remove the magwell if it was going to be a dedicated CCW. But it is held in place with an Allen bolt and can be easily removed in seconds. Or, as I mentioned above, you can have a second clutch module for CCW. It's a 30 minute job.

My question is whether the P320 X Carry Legion also has a long basket like the X5-Legion.
JeffJaje said: My question is whether the P320 X Carry Legion has as big a bullet as the long X5-Legion. Click to expand... No - it has a standard P320 4.6" barrel. Personally, I'm happy with that, because I don't think it should add any extra weight to this gun. If this is true Really. , it would make more sense, but then again, that's what the X-5 Legion is for.
• I have read many reviews and it is amazing for its size, and great power
I would like to try some higher loads, because I don't think the high standard 115 gr FMJ will do much to justify the performance of this small compa. So I grabbed a box of 124 g+P NATO from the warehouse and tried:
P320 X Five Legion Vs P320 Rx Compact (modded) Vs P229 Rx Legion
The bullet drops a bit lower, which may be because I shot the red dot last week with a standard 115 gr load and/or that the color+P is just a high POI. However, I am pleased with the unit, for a gun I shot a second time and still used.
So does Mini Comp work? I haven't X-Carry Legion in 124 +P loads before without a computer so I can't really make a comparison, but I can say that this paint looks very soft for +P and almost as if no cover was standing to speak. . that. It could be the base TXG doing a good job of reducing recoil, or the Mini Comp doing its job, but I think it's a combination of the two.
However, I really like this gun. It was really exciting to shoot, and 'powerful' to feel. I played VP9 or before this, and while I love VP9, there is no comparison. This X-Carry Legion is the best gun I have ever shot.
Thanks for the post. I don't know about Micro comp. I will look into that. I've only shot my X-Carry Legion twice so far but I'm doing pretty well compared to other guns I've had in a while. I've been wanting to get more comfortable with my shotgun, but I'm doing just as well or better with this Legion and my Canik TP9SFX.

We must be brothers from other mothers... I have both X-Carry Legion and VP9 OR. Consider picking up a Griffin Micro Comp for both because they are cheap. I got the Herrington Arms comp and I combined it with the full TXG grip module, I love it. Suppose that microcom will be used in mold making. Do these names have names? My first thought is how does it work if the oil is put in all directions if it is not registered?
I have X-Five Legion with optic and TLR-1 and I think X-carry and comp without optic, no lighting better than X-five. The monitor is easier.
