Ps 90 Gun - The P90 (short for 1990 project) is a Belgian personal defense weapon manufactured by FN Herstal from 1990 to 1993, with improved models now in production.

The P90 was manufactured by the Belgian company FN Herstal from 1986 to 1990 and was first used by Belgian special forces during the Persian Gulf War.

The P90 was designed to replace pistol-caliber machine guns for military and law enforcement use, as these cartridges were considered inadequate for body armor.

Further development led to the P90 TR version, introduced in 1999 and offered alongside the standard P90.

In 2011, P90s were used by Muammar Gaddafi's forces during the Libyan Civil War, and some of the weapons were captured by anti-Gaddafi rebels and used in combat.

The P90 is a short, compact, lightweight bullseye weapon chambered in 5.7×28mm. It fires from a top-fed 50-round magazine and a closed bolt. The P90 has a 10.5-inch barrel with a built-in flash. It uses a direct fire method, with a weapon cycle rate of 900 rounds per minute. All models of the P90 can take a damper. The shell exits from a port on the bottom of the weapon, eliminating the problem of left- and right-handed shooters exiting.

The P90's receiver is made of polymer and comes in a variety of colors, with olive wood and black being the most common.

To accommodate the 90 degree rotation of the cartridge in the magazine, the magazine follower is equipped with a "dummy cartridge" that rotates into the chamber via a 90 degree rotating rack.

The P90 was the first version introduced in 1990 and used the older and longer SS90 cartridge. Production ceased in 1993, and the original P90 was replaced by the SS190 revolver.

The P90 SS190 is an improved version of the P90, built on the shorter SS190 circuit. Production began in 1993.

A P90 with a laser sight mounted in front of the trigger guard under the barrel. This laser can be visible or infrared. Infrared lasers are used at night, along with night vision equipment (since that's the only way the light can be seen). Standard visible lasers have three settings. Power, low power and full power. Production began in 1995.

This P90 has a tactical rail on top of the receiver and two rail sections on either side of the receiver. The upper rail is intact. Production began in 1999.

This civilian variant is almost identical to the P90. It does, however, have a 16-inch barrel with automatic fire suppression. Production began in 2005.

A short-barreled shotgun version of the PS90 with a 10-inch barrel. Visually, this gun is somewhat easy to confuse with a regular P90. But to distinguish them, most P90s have clip-on brakes, compared to the PS90 SBR, which uses standard clip-on brakes.
